Feature Inspirational Stories: Writers can submit up to 12 stories per year to be showcased on our Featured Stories page. Our focus is on stories that inspire, blending the imaginative with the relatable.

Our Story
After nurturing an online friendship for a solid five years, Melissa and Ian shared a burning desire to embark on a joint project. They were determined to create something truly special that would offer aspiring writers a chance to shine in the literary world. Ian had long envisioned the launch of a magazine, while Melissa had been fervently pursuing her dream of helping authors get their work published.
As they delved into conversations about their aspirations, it became abundantly clear that their shared goal was to provide a platform for writers to showcase their talents, be it through thought-provoking fiction or heartwarming inspirational pieces. Thus, the concept of KaleidoScript, a brand-new literary magazine, was conceived.
KaleidoScript isn’t merely the product of their dreams; it is destined to become a legacy for countless authors across the globe. The magazine is set to be an exciting and dynamic reading platform, promising a delightful blend of inspirational narratives and captivating fictional stories. Their collaboration is a testament to the power of shared dreams and the potential to turn those dreams into reality. In a world hungry for fresh voices and fresh stories, Melissa and Ian were poised to make a significant impact in the literary landscape, providing both writers and readers with an enchanting experience that would be cherished for generations to come.
Meet the Creators
Melissa Desveaux - Media Manager
Residing in Sydney, Australia, Melissa Desveaux is a bestselling author, devoted wife and mother of two boys.
After enduring the heartbreak of three miscarriages and a stillbirth, Melissa crafted her moving memoir "My Life of Loss" to share her remarkable story with the world.
This inspiring journey led to her being placed on Brainz 500 Global's prestigious list in 2020, winning an Australia Day award in 2017 and she has since provided her writing talents to three other anthologies, as well as curating two collections of women's stories about pregnancy struggles.
Her latest project, the Letters of Love series brings together authors from across the globe to describe and express love in all its forms.
Outside of her writing, Melissa uses her expertise to help people who dream of writing their own personal narrative and self-publishing, giving them the courage to make a difference in people's lives.
Ian Craven - Communications Manager
Ian Craven, is an aspiring fantasy author for children across multiple age groups.
He struggled to read and write as a kid because of his severe Dyslexia. Instead of allowing the challenge of Dyslexia to define him, his heart stood determined to do whatever it takes to reach his goals.
In Middle School, his seventh grade English teacher inspired him to keep a journal. Journaling became a place for him to write about his life and express his thoughts. His genuine love for writing evolved while attending Toccoa Falls College where he discovered his passion to write stories.
Over the years, Ian has grown into an aspiring author who loves using his wild and vivid imagination to write fantasy and adventure stories!
The challenge of Dyslexia pushed him to overcome his struggles and to do more than he could think or imagine possible. From this experience, he has a passion to inspire others to live beyond their wildest dreams, much like his own imagination.
That’s why today he strategically and purposefully connects people online with other people needed to achieve success. It’s his passion to create communities and provide unique opportunities for people to grow and thrive in living out their fullest potential!
